Our relationship is important to your healing. It matters that you feel a sense of connection, that you are in safe hands, and you feel able to talk about absolutely anything. Therapy is a unique relationship, and our shared goal is to explore the buried feelings, trying in so many physical and often self-destructive ways to get your attention.

Your therapy is all about you


Your relationship experiences, in particular your family life, really matter. Your body is where your unprocessed feelings get stored. You put up walls to keep them out of awareness. So you'll constantly try to get your own attention because you are not in balance. Ignoring these communications makes you feel anxiety.

For me psychotherapy is a collaborative endeavour. Working relationally means paying attention to how your feelings communicate themselves. I'm interested both in what you say and how I feel when we're together. My work is to ask good questions and put the data together in order to help us think deeply about you.

would you like to talk?

It starts with an email. We arrange a 20 minute call. Next is an initial session. After that, you decide whether to have individual therapy. We think together about focussing on one issue; or coming into open-ended therapy. We explore too whether you'd get more from a therapy group. We clarify the T's&C's. These are straight-forward. Your session is allocated to you and we bill our monthly fee at the end of each month.
